<br />General answer: no, there is nothing special needed.  It&#8217;ll be just as though you were going on holiday and would be diving.</p>
<p>Slightly longer answer:  check with the airline about your tank, if you own one.  It may have to be depressurized.<br />
And you will want to *not* bring your weights with you unless there&#8217;s something very special about them.  You&#8217;ll pay as much or more for the excess baggage weight charge as it will cost you to replace them when you get here.  Sell them to a friend there in NZ and use the money to buy new when you get here.</p>
